Pellicano Hotels
At Pellicano Hotels Group, luxury is timeless yet understated, it is in the atmosphere, a gesture, and any number of many small details. The iconic Hotel Il Pellicano (50 rooms, Porto Ercole) and La Posta Vecchia Hotel (19 rooms, Palo Laziale) were joined in 2019 by the suitably fascinating Mezzatorre Hotel & Thermal Spa (52 rooms, Ischia), newly infused with that Pellicano Hotels’ personality. Open for ‘the season’, each hotel captures the loveliest times in Italy from spring to autumn, when sunlight glints off the fresh seas lapping La Posta Vecchia’s ochre façade and the private coves beneath Il Pellicano and Mezzatorre. The Pellicano Grand Tour through Tuscany, Lazio and Campania is the essence of the group, nurtured with a very personal care under the dynamic direction of Marie-Louise Sciò, CEO & Creative Director. As an acknowledged arbiter of contemporary fine tastes and armed with an architectural background, Marie Louise cultivates a contemporary creative spirit at Pellicano Hotels, which she shares with warmth and wit. The Group is headed by the Sciò family, whose goal is to grow what founder Roberto Sciò has started. Finding and preserving unique places with personality and promoting the Pellicano style in the world, as an icon of Italian hospitality and not only: timeless, elegant cultured and eclectic.
