Luigi Saulino is a research fellow at the University of Naples Federico II. He is a Lecturer in Ecosystem Services and Environmental Impacts Assessment at the Department of Agricultural Sciences and Environmental and Land Protection at the Department of Economics, Management and Institutions of the University of Naples Federico II. His PhD is in Agricultural and Food Sciences, with a research focus on the ecology and management of forests and tree plantations in the Mediterranean environment. Currently, he is a primary coordinator of the Horizon Europe Project (DigiMedFor n. 101081928), which focuses on developing digital tools and technology systems for the sustainable management of Mediterranean forest resources. As a researcher, he has collaborated on several competitive projects (PON, FESR, PSR). He co-edits an international and peer-reviewed scientific journal (iForest).
