Alessandro Cirillo is an Associate Professor of Business Administration at the University of Naples – Federico II, Department of Economics, Management and Institutions (DEMI). He graduated, both bachelor and master degrees, from Luiss Guido Carli University (Rome) where he was also an Erasmus student at the University College Dublin (UCD). He obtained the Ph.D. from the University of Naples – Federico II in 2015. He has been assistant professor, with tenure, at the University of Foggia from December 2015 to June 2021. He visited: Queensland University of Technology – Brisbane, Research Center of Entrepreneurship and Family Firms – Hasselt University, Witten Institute for Family Businesses, IPAG Business School – Nice. He teaches at undergraduate, post-graduate, master, and executive levels.
His research activities are at the crossroads of two research streams: family business and finance. He is currently involved in multiple projects about the Initial Public Offering of family firms that are disentangled using a corporate governance lens.
