Rossella Galletti

Rossella Galletti holds a Ph.D in Cultural Anthropology with a thesis in Anthropology of food titled: “Crossing over the food: food, identity and globalization. An anthropological analysis of the process of identity formation between Campania and Minnesota”.
She is senior researcher at the MedEatResearch, Center of Social Research on the Mediterranean Diet of the University of Naples Suor Orsola Benincasa.
She teaches Anthropology of symbols, Body Languages and Anthropology of food.
She studies identities and practices of social distinction through food consumption and cultural heritage tied to food in the context of the Mediterranean cultures.
She wrote many scientific essays about food culture. She is journalist.
